The Commission on Science and Technology for Sustainable Development in the South - COMSATS
هيئة العلم والتقنية لدعم التنمية المستدامة في دول الجنوب
هي منظمة دولية تعمل ما بين الحكومات ، بغرض الدعم القتصادي-الاجتماعي المستدام للدول النامية عبر التطبيق النافع للعلم والتقنية.
وقد أسسها ممثلي 36 دولة في إسلام آباد 1994 ، ولها منتدى يمثله رؤوساء الحكومات في 36 بلداً من ثلاث قارات ؛ آسيا وأفريقيا وأمريكا اللاتينية. وهذه الهيئة هي فكرة الدكتور عبدوس سالم بغرض ردم الفجوة المعرفية بين الشمال والجنوب. والتي لا بد لها من دعم القدرة المحلية في العلم والتقنية. وتصدر مجلة اسمها الرؤية العلمية Science Vision
